CINS offers classroom workshops throughout each semester CougarNet Portal and e-mail system, and Adastra [campus room scheduler]. The Workshops are designed to familiarize attendees with the features available in the systems and how to use them.

Workshops

CougarNet E-mail

You learn to compose, send and receive e-mail messages as well as move them into customizable folders. You also learn to set up personal address books and more.

CougarNet E-mail Filter

This workshop lets you learn to filter your incoming e-mails to reduce spam messages.

CougarNet Calendar

The CougarNet Calendar workshop allows you to learn to manage school and course related calendar(s) as well as your group and personal calendar(s).

CougarNet Groups/Course Studios

The Groups/Course Studios workshop allows you learn to create and manage group homepages for clubs or other affiliations and interests.

CougarNet Tabs and Channels

The Tabs and Channels Workshop teaches you tab and channel customization. By learning to add additional tabs and/or reconfigure the existing tabs and columns. You also learn to add, delete, or move channels.

Tutorials

Microsoft training tutorials is available for staff and faculty and staff. The easy-to-use tutorials help you target your training to meet your needs; choose just the lessons you want. An expert instructor walks you through each lesson, step by step, in full motion animation. After each lesson you can practice what you have learned - helping you achieve an effective interactive training experience. The tutorial includes:
