Lab procedures
Academic computing lab reservations should be made for classes that require significant hands-on participation for attendees or students in every class session. Classes that need an instructor's machine mainly for demonstration should reserve one of the multimedia classrooms.
- All requests for computer labs must be submitted through eQuest.
- Labs must be reserved at least one week prior to the class meeting.
- Problems with computer equipment or software in labs should be submitted through eQuest with a "High" priority. An "Out of Order" sign should be placed on the problem computer. (signs are available in classroom labs)
- The instructor is responsible for logging out all machines at the end of the session.
- To LogOut:
- Click Start
- Click Shut Down
- It is recommended that instructors familiarize themselves with the lab they will be using before the actual reserved time.
