1. How to set 1" margins in Word

  1. Click File
  2. Click Page Setup
  3. Set the Top, Bottom, Left and Right margins all have 1" (Left and Right usually have 1.25")

Note: Do not change the gutter settings unless you are told to by your professor

2. How do I print on both sides of the page?

  1. Click File
  2. Click Print
  3. Click Properties in the top right corner
  4. Click Layout in the top tab
  5. Select Flip On Long Edge
  6. Click OK
  7. Click OK
  8. Click OK

3. How do I print on only one side of the page?

  1. Click File
  2. Click Print
  3. Click Properties in the top right corner
  4. Click Layout in the top tab
  5. Select None under duplex printing
  6. Click OK
  7. Click OK
  8. Click OK

4. How do I hide/show the cell lines in Excel?

  1. Click File
  2. Click Print Preview
  3. Click Setup in the Print Preview window
  4. Click the Sheet tab at the top of the page
  5. Check Gridlines
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Print
  8. Click OK

5. How do I show the formulas in Excel?

  1. Click Tools
  2. Click Options
  3. Click the View tab if it is not already open
  4. Check the Formulas
  5. Click OK
